Qin had her Chicken Pox Vaccination taken this morning. Qin was actually due for her chicken pox vaccination, we have been delaying it mainly due to the CNY. As usual, Gong Gong drove over to Dr. Shan Chee’s clinic for registration and also some routine check –up. According to Dr. Shan Chee, chicken pox vaccination will be given only one time and after this, the next would be the DTP/Polio/HIB & Hepatitis B (5 in 1) booster jab scheduled to be taken on her 24 months old (around 26 Sept 2010). ehhh...Why the jab not to be taken in 18 months?? Mummy called up to Dr Shan Chee to ask this. According to Dr Shan Chee, he advised that this booster jab to be taken preferred with good immune system.
Popo called Mummy said that measurement was taken today by nurse, Dr Shan Chee said that Qin’s weight is ok with measuring at 8.0kg. Mummy was worried because Qin’s weight is actually underweight.
Compared to last three months, Qin’s weight only slightly increased by 0.2kg (within 3 months...really not acceptable). Although Qin is now and chronological age of 17 months, Qin is actually at the corrected age of 14 months. The healthy weight range guide at 14-15 months is at least 8.5kg. So, Qin’s weight is below the lowest range / underweight….oh hor….how??
Qin now actually very consistent to meal regulation whereby solid food (porridge) on lunch and dinner times and 3 times of milk in a day, which is at breakfast time, afternoon around 3pm and before bed. Why still underweight?? Mummy was thinking is it Qin have too much physical exercise (strongly stroll her Ferrari car & leisurely walk around house furniture in the afternoon & evening times) which can burn fat in the body???
